2) The material is 100% PRE-PREG carbon fiber produced using hot melt impregnation systems with tetrafunctional microhard resin.

6) DRS (dynamic resonance system)-a new innovative system exclusive to CETMA COMPOSITES. This system means that the MANTRA blade is designed to resonate over a specific range of strokes. Indeed, the phenomenon of resonance is a well-known physical phenomenon that characterizes any structure. Simply put, the oscillation frequency of the leg movement overlaps with the oscillation frequency of the blade, and overall this very effectively increases the amplitude of the blade oscillation (low damping). Thanks to the engineering design, it is possible to distribute the stiffness and mass of the blade to “tune” it to a certain range of natural frequencies close to the frequencies of the leg stroke, which in turn allows the creation of the phenomenon of resonance . Thus, with little effort on the part of the swimmer, the power of the paddle stroke increases many times. This study was performed using a laser vibrometer (LDV) to perform a modal analysis to determine the mass and stiffness distributions of the blade.
